About the data

Sources, independence & disclosures

PeptideAudits compares research peptide vendors using the lab certificates they publish. This page explains where the figures come from and what they can and can't tell you.

Independence

PeptideAudits is not associated with, funded by, nor accepts advertising dollars from any peptide supplier.

Scores come from a fixed, published rubric applied the same way to every vendor. No vendor can pay to change a score, grade or rank.

Where the data comes from

  • Seller-published certificates. Our crawler collects certificates of analysis from vendors' own websites and reads the lab name, date, reported purity, quantity and safety results. Uncertain readings are held for a person to review before publishing.
  • Lab lookups. Some labs (Janoshik, MZ Biolabs, Freedom Diagnostics) let anyone look a report up by its code. We link those lookups. We only say a code was found on the lab's site when our crawler confirmed it; otherwise the link is marked as not checked by us.
  • Prices. Single-vial prices read from the seller's listing at collection time, matched to the size that was tested. Shipping and taxes are not included.
  • Trustpilot. Vendor-level only: imported from the vendor's own trustpilot.com page, matched by exact domain, with the retrieval date shown. It is not a PeptideAudits review and is never part of a report score.
  • Community submissions. Certificates sent in through Submit a COA are reviewed by a person and then read the same way.

What we don't do: PeptideAudits does not buy or test products. A certificate shows what a lab reported for one batch; it doesn't prove the stock on sale today came from that batch. Missing data is shown as missing — never as a failed result, a zero rating or a verification.

Full formulas are on the methodology page (version v4, updated Oct 25, 2026). Recent changes to the records are listed on Updates.

Discount codes and vendor links

Discount codes are collected from public sources. PeptideAudits receives no compensation when you use them. Some codes or links may belong to third-party affiliates; we don't know whether they earn a commission or who receives it. Codes never affect a score.

Codes are labeled “publicly listed” unless we've checked them ourselves, in which case they're labeled “independently checked”. Expired codes are removed when we learn of them.

The Protocols promotion

Protocols is a separate tracking app, not a peptide supplier. It receives a free promotional placement on this site. It doesn't pay for that placement, and it has no influence on any score, grade or rank. Clicks on those placements are counted by placement; that count isn't a measure of sign-ups.

Corrections

Spotted a wrong price, a misread value, a closed vendor or a broken link? Every vendor and report page has a “Report an issue” link, or use the correction form. A person reviews each one.

Research use only. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no product listed is approved for human use.
